Ryanair has confirmed that it has a final business plan for launching low-cost flights into the US but such plans are on hold since it will be several years before it can secure the equipment needed to launch such services. Speaking at a conference, CEO Michael O’Leary confirmed that Ryanair would offer €10 flights to Boston and New York and US$10 (€7.30) seats back to Europe. Rather than fly out of Dublin, O’Leary said flights from 12-14 European cities would fly to US destinations to sidestep being targeted by Aer Lingus by flying solely to the US out of Dublin.
