Regional Jet to lease two ATRs

Regional Jet, which is jointly owned by Estonian state-backed airline Nordica and LOT Polish Airlines, has signed a lease for two ATR aircraft from Elix Aviation Capital and Castlelake. The aircraft will operate routes of Scandinavian carrier SAS out of Copenhagen under a six-year agreement that will begin in August. The airline has also concluded preliminary agreements for a further three aircraft, which will be disclosed once they are signed agreements in place.
