Qatar Airways plans to start flights to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago and Detroit within the next year using 787s. The New York service will also be increased to three flights per day with the addition of links via cities in Eastern and Western Europe. The daily flights to Washington and Houston were not mentioned and to date remain unchanged. Qatar Airways also plans to resume services to Rangoon in October.
