New Icelandic airline, Play, has announced via Twitter that it has acquired its Air Operators Certificate (AOC) from The Icelandic Transport Authority ICETRA. “After long preparations, the certificate for our first Airbus A321NEO airplane TF-AEW has been signed,” the airline tweeted. Play intends to launch services to 14 European and US destinations from Iceland from this summer using six A320-family aircraft.
