The UK Civil Aviation Authority has granted an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Operating Licence (OL) to Norse Atlantic Airways. With these licenses, the airline can now begin direct flights from the UK. Norse is keen to operate flights between London Gatwick and a number of US destinations. This schedule is subject to further regulatory approvals, particularly serving routes that are currently not served by direct flights or lack sufficient capacity.
