Rumours are building that AirAsia is poised to order more than 100 A320s. Tweets and comments by AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes have fuelled the rumours, specifically: “Big big news as well. Airasia Japan makes money in first month. I’m so thrilled. Need more planes.” AirAsia has so far taken delivery of 103 of its order for 375 A320s.
