Malaysian Airline System is reported to be considering requipping its fleet with either the Airbus 350 or the Boeing 787 aircraft. Chief executive officer Tengku Azmil Zahruddin, has said he is evaluated both aircraft. Faced with stiff competition from AirAsia and Singapore’s Tiger Airways Holdings, MAS is under pressure to renew its fleet. MAS already has 15 Airbus A330-300 on order, with options for 10 more, as well as six A380s due in 2012.
