Lufthansa names new low-cost prospect

As we reported yesterday Lufthansa is considering setting up a new low-cost subsidiary. The new carrier, which will take over the airline’s European flights, will be called “Direct 4 You” and will replace Germanwings. Eurowings could also be merged into the new airline, with staff being given the option to move to the new company. Direct 4 you flights would operate mainly out of Frankfurt and Munich.
