It has been widely reported but not confirmed by any party that Lufthansa is currently in talks with Thomas Cook over gaining a share or full acquisition of holiday airline Condor. Reuters states that Lufthansa is seeking the partnership to help bolster its low-cost Eurowings business. Earlier in the month, it was reported that Lufthansa was also seeking to expand its share of Brussels Airlines and a closer partnership with SAS.
