New Chinese start-up, Longjiang Airlines, will commence operations in December this year. The new carrier will be based at Harbin Taiping International Airport (HRB) and plans to establish a regional route network covering the whole Heilongjiang Province, and launch service to nearly twenty cities including Beijing and Shanghai, as well as start international service to the Russian Far East, connecting to Russia, Korea and Japan. The carrier will operate both Airbus A320 and Embraer E190 aircraft.
