Lion Air CEO Rusdi Kirana caused a storm of interest in Canada yesterday after he said he would most likely become Bombardier’s largest customer by way of a possible CSeries order at Farnborough Air Show in 2014 with deliveries over five years from 2015/16. The CS300, which can be configured for between 135 and 160 seats, would fill a void between its 72-seat ATR turboprops and larger, 189-seat Boeing 737s, Kirana said.
