Afghanistan-based Kam Air has enlisted the help of Aerotask Aviation Consultancy to complete a number of aircraft transactions. Aerotask facilitated the acquisition of three ex-Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-300 aircraft for Kam Air, in line with the airline’s strategy to modernise and expand its existing narrowbody fleet. With this move, Kam Air has now retired its McDonnell Douglas MD-80 aircraft. Aerotask has also worked to secure an additional Airbus A340-300, the fourth in Kam Air’s fleet of A340s, which was acquired in response to robust international passenger demand.
