Juneyao Airlines has indicated plans to double its fleet by 2020. The airline expects the opening of Disney’s Shanghai park to push up demand for more tourist travel later this year. Chairman Wang Junjin has said that the airline plans to expand its fleet to 100 from the current 50 and has plans to join a global alliance. Juneyao is expecting to receive up to 10 new aircraft in 2016, mostly A321s, which will likely be deployed on routes in Thailand and Russia as well as Disneyland in Shanghai.
