Lufthansa is still evaluating how many jobs it plans to cut as a result of its cost-reduction programme. The statement comes in response to a newspaper report that the airline would cut some 3,000 administrative staff – half of its administrative roles. The reaming roles will be moved to a new business unit, with longer working hours and less pay, according to the report.
