Jetstar Asia has appointed a former chief financial officer as its new chief executive officer. Barathan Pasupathi replaces Chong Phit Lian who served as CEO of the budget airline for the past six years. Pasupathi, a Singaporean citizen, served at Jetstar Asia between 2004 and 2007, before moving to Jazeera Airways and later a German oil company in Singapore.
