JETBLUE FEBRUARY TRAFFIC UP 9%

JetBlue Airways February 2011 traffic figures rose 9% from February 2010, on a capacity increase of 1.4%. Load factor was 80.1%, an increase of 5.6 points from February 2010.  The airline’s preliminary completion factor was 95% and its on-time performance was 65.5%, while its preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) for the month of February increased 18% year over year, which was largely due to the impact of severe weather in the Northeast at the beginning of the month.
