Jet Airways has deferred delivery of the first of its 10 787 aircraft on order, which is due in the fourth quarter of 2017. The airline is seeking to limit its widebody capacity addition and consolidate its business. It has not revealed when it will start taking delivery of its 787s but local media reports speculate that this will not be until 2019. In the meantime, Jet says it is focused on upgrading capacity on key international routes by deploying the six 777s that are returning from lease.
