Jazeera makes the bid for Kuwait Airways control

Jazeera Airways has formally submitted a LOI to acquire 35% of Kuwait Airways, which is being privatized by the government of Kuwait. The 35% stake is the maximum allowed by a single private investor as stipulated under the privatization rules. Jazeera Airways chairman Marwan Boodai confirmed: “We launch our bid for the acquisition of 35% of Kuwait Airways, we believe an efficiently run Kuwait Airways with a private sector management approach benefits all stakeholders, especially employees who will be presented with an opportunity to transform and grow the airline into one that travelers seek as a first choice rather than
