Japan Airlines will begin low cost flights in Japan from next year in a joint venture with Qantas subsidiary Jetstar. JAL’s joint venture with Jetstar will be capitalised at Y10 billion to Y20 billion ($A115 million to $A230 million, with JAL and Jetstar each owning a 30% stake.
