Earlier this week German daily newspaper Handelsblatt stated that Hans Rudolf Woehrl, an airline investor, was to become the co-owner of an investment vehicle that would acquire outstanding shares of Air Berlin. Handelsblatt has however subsequently denied such reports stated that he hadn’t even been contacted by the airline.
