IndiGo is further expanding its domestic capacity with two new flights to North India from Delhi and Mumbai. The flights will commence from March 2, 2023 with the Delhi-Itanagar flight routing over Kolkatta and the new direct flight between Mumbai and Silchar in Assam. Apart from expanding IndiGo’s domestic presence, these new flights will give more options to passengers to and from the remote locations in North-East India. No other airline presently offers these connections. In fact, the new flight between Mumbai-Silchar will cut down the air travel time by half. Vinay Malhotra, head of global sales at IndiGo, said:
