Icelandair’s international passenger traffic grew by 22% in September 2015, compared to the year-ago period to over 316,000 passengers. The airline’s passenger load factor increased from 79.8% in September 2014 to 83.1% last month, its highest ever September figure. Passengers on regional flights and Greenland flights were 27,000 in September, which was a 3% increase from September last year.  The load factor was 77.8%, increasing by 2.7 percentage points compared to September 2014.  Sold block hours in charter flights increased by 30% between years.  Cargo transport increased by 5% year-on-year.
