The President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has indicated that under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative, it will move to establish new national airline within the year. Former national airline, Ghana Airways, ceased operations in 2010. Mahama has also stated that numerous aerodromes will be constructed in some regional capitals this year.
