Frontier Airlines is reducing the number of its gates at Denver International Airport from 14 to eight in a bid to cut costs. This reduction will translate into a dollar saving of $3 million per year. Frontier has expanded its presence in Cincinnati and Orlando, however, where there is a lack of low-cost competition.
