Finnair reveals August 2019 passenger traffic

Finnair carried 1.36 million passengers during August 2019, representing an increase of more than 12.9% from the same period last year. The overall capacity measured in available seat kilometres (ASK) increased in August by 9.3%. Finnair’s traffic measured in revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) increased by 12.8%, and the passenger load factor (PLF) increased year-on-year by 2.6% points to 86.8%.   The North American capacity increased by 31.8% following the opening of the new Los Angeles route in March and added frequencies to San Francisco.   In European traffic, the ASKs were up by 4.3%.
