African airline Fastjet has issued a statement that its chief executive officer (CEO) Nico Bezuidenhout will step down after three years in the role. It’s being reported that Bezuidenhout could return to re-join Mango Airlines, which he founded, as its top boss, a role he previously held for nearly a decade. Following the announcement, Fastjet said Mark Hurst, its deputy group chief executive officer, will lead the airline until a permanent replacement is appointed.
