Etihad Airways recently received its first Airbus A380 from storage. The aircraft was at Tarmac Aerosave’s Teruel facility in Spain for 21 months before taking off to France for maintenance. Post maintenance the flight took off from Tabres, France and landed at Abu Dhabi on March 10, 2023 after six hours, 48 minutes. Etihad had put all of its superjumbo A380s in storage in April 2021 due to the pandemic. Now with the increasing demand, the airline plans to return four of its Airbus A380s back to service.
