Ethiopian Airlines recently took delivery of its 20th and final Airbus A350-900. With this delivery, the airline is awaiting the pending deliveries of 20 Boeing jets and four Airbus A350-1000s ordered in 2022. Ethiopian Airlines’ latest A350-900 departed from Toulouse and landed in Addis Ababa with a flight duration of six hours and 11 minutes. The delivery flight used 30% blend Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) thus reducing its carbon footprint and contributing to the ambition set by IATA, ATAG and ICAO to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
