Emirates has announced the suspension of flights to Guinea until further notice, due to the ongoing outbreak of the Ebola virus in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia.In a statement, the airline said: “The safety of our passengers and crew is of the highest priority and will not be compromised.”IATA reiterated a statement last week confirming that the World Health Organisation was not recommending travel restrictions or border closures due to the outbreak.Emirates stated that any further actions in connection with the outbreak would be “guided by the advice and updates from the government and international health authorities.”
