It’s being reported by Reuters that Emirates chief commercial officer Thierry Antinori has resigned. The news comes days after the airline reported falling profits in its latest financial results. The airline suffered a 69% dip in profits to Dh871 million ($237m) in the 2018-2019 financial year compared to Dh2.796 billion in the prior financial year. The Emirates website shows that Antinori joined Emirates as executive vice president for passenger sales worldwide in October 2011 and was promoted to CCO in June 2013.
