El Israel Airlines (El Al) has reported its first fourth-quarter net profit since 2015. The airline recorded an $8.5 million net profit in the fourth quarter of 2022, with the help of a $9 million capital gain. The airline ended the year 2022 with a net profit of $109 million after combined losses of nearly $1 billion in 2020 and 2021.
