easyJet traffic up 7% in July
easyJet has reported a 6.7% rise in passenger traffic during the month of July 2016 to 7.5 million passengers. The carrier’s load factor for the month rose by 1.5 percentage points to 95.8%. On a rolling 12 months basis to the end of July, easyJet’s passenger traffic increased by 6.8% to 72.3 million, with a load factor of 91.7%. In July there were 350 cancellations for the month which compares to 318 for July 2015 (of which 285 were due to fires at Rome Fiumicino airport).
