easyJet June traffic up

During the month of June 2013, easyJet carried 5,537,275 passengers, 1.9% more than the period last year. The load factor in June was flat at 89.9%. For the year to date, easyJet has carried 4.9% more passengers than the same period last year – some 60,151,046 passengers have flown with easyJet in the past 12 months. During June 2013, easyJet cancelled 585 flights in June 2013 compared to the 22 flights cancelled in June 2012. The increase in cancellations was predominantly driven by the French Air Traffic Control strike from 11-13 June 2013.
