easyJet will operate more flights to Lapland for Christmas and has a quarter of a million extra seats now on sale for this winter, to serve demand for last-minute winter sun breaks as well as those travelling over the festive season. easyJet will begin flying to Kittila in Lapland from London Gatwick for the first time next month. Flights take off on December 3, and will operate twice a week throughout the winter season. The new route joins an existing twice weekly service from London Gatwick to Rovaniemi which the airline has also upped capacity on with 2000 more seats
