Hussein Dabbas, president and CEO of Royal Jordanian Airlines has resigned. Dabbas, who headed the airline for the past three years, said that he was ready for a change. “It has been a very tough year for the airline industry as a whole and the economy and we did very well despite the circumstances,” he said. “It’s time for a change for me and the airline and for new ideas.” Dabbas helped the airline perform well despite a challenging environment, with revenues at Royal Jordanian up 6.3% last year even in the face of a 20% increase in operating costs.
