COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China) delivered an ARJ21 to Indonesian airline TransNusa yesterday marking its first international delivery. The aircraft was designed with a 95-seat configuration, all economy class with livery painted in blue-yellow and green. This aircraft is the first out of the two scheduled to be delivered in the coming months. The aircraft was ordered in January 2021 by China’s Everbright Group, which was looking for 30 COMAC ARJ21-700 and had the option of adding another 30 aircraft. The plan was that the regional aircraft would be leased through AVIC Leasing to TransNusa as part of the airline’s fleet expansion.
