Centrum Air, the start-up Uzbek airline, recently took delivery of two Airbus A320s. The airline has already incorporated two 737s in its fleet and is expecting delivery of a third A320 in the next few days taking the total fleet count to five. Abdulaziz Abdurakhmonov, CEO of Centrum Air, said: “Our decision to start a new airline reflects the success of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s economic reforms and his strong support for the development of private sector capacities in both the transportation and tourism sectors. Establishing a low-cost airline will enable many more people to enjoy the benefits of air travel
