Centrum Air, the low-cost carrier of Uzbekistan recently launched its international operations. The airline’s first international flight on the new route took off on April 2 to Jeddah. The aircraft was greeted with a traditional water cannon salute before the first flight. The airline is planning to operate 7-10 flights per week on Namangan-Jeddah route. Centrum Air has deployed its Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 on the route. Apart from the above route, the airline also commenced Jeddah-Tashkent direct flights from April 4.
