Cathay Pacific Airways is adding capacity to both passenger and cargo flights to India. Cathay plans to operate 777 aircraft on Indian routes in place of the existing A330s to boost capacity by 21% but stay within the terms of its bilateral constraints, which restrict Cathay to operate only 48 weekly flights to India. The airline also intends to boost load factors between the two countries up from 70-80 to a target of 85%.
