Australian regional carrier Brindabella Airlines has had eight of its 10 aircraft grounded by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority for maintenance reviews. The move has called into question the financial health of the Canberra-based airline’s owners, Business Air Holdings. Unconfirmed reports state that the airline is behind on some payments. Qantas Airways revoked a codeshare with Brindabella after CASA initially grounded four of its Jetstream planes because engine inspections were overdue last month.
