Boom Supersonic has started work on a “superfactory” where its supersonic passenger jet will be built. What will be a “state-of-the-art manufacturing facility”, the Overture Superfactory is to be stood up on a 62-acre campus at Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina. It will house the final assembly line, test facility and customer delivery centre for the Overture, Boom’s in-process supersonic passenger jet.
