Boeing has forecasted the Middle East region will require as many as 2,950 new aircraft worth $640 billion for the next twenty years between 2014 and 2033. Marty Bentrott, vice president – sales, the Middle East, Russia and Central Asia, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, says that he expects demand to continue to increase in the Middle East market in response to ongoing industry growth and that 46% of the aircraft predicted are expected to be single aisle with 37% expected to be for twin-aisle aircraft.
