Spanish carrier Binter has signed an agreement to buy six additional ATR 72-600s, taking their total order for the aircraft to eighteen. The aircraft will serve Binter’s Canary Islands network. The new aircraft will contribute to the fleet renewal process the airline began two years ago with the purchase of the first six ATR 72-600s. Binter has already received four ATR 72-600s, and will now replace its remaining 14 ATR 72-500s. In addition to the introduction of the new ATRs, the airline’s subsidiary in Cape Verde, Binter CV, is starting operations this month with ATR 72-500s. According to ATR’s market
