It has been reported that a British Airway’s 747 service between London Heathrow and Moscow’s Domodedovo airport has not been approved by the Russian civil aviation authority. The airline submitted plans to the authorities to use the aircraft on the route in September, but the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia’s Ministry of Transport says it has not approved the request. BA uses a 767 and A320s on the LHR-DME route at the moment but wants to increase capacity.
