Global full-service aircraft asset manager Aviation Capital Group has delivered one new A320 aircraft on long-term lease to Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), the ninth of ten aircraft due to be delivered to the Scandinavian carrier under a long-term lease arrangement. SAS currently operates 56 A320neos, which are powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines. The airline’s website states it has 24 additional A320neos on order to be delivered by 2025, all of which will feature SAS’ new cabin interiors. As of September 30 2023, Aviation Capital Group’s fleet of over 490 owned, managed and committed aircraft are leased to around 90 aircraft
