Atlantic Airways to begin direct flights from Faroe Islands to New York

Atlantic Airways is set to introduce a direct flight from the Faroe Islands to New York in the autumn. The airline will use its A320neo aircraft for the route and will operate one A320 and two A319s in addition to some helicopters. The airline expects to take delivery of two A320neos in 2019 and start flying them from July. The airline also recently confirmed it will operate direct flights from the Faroe Islands to Paris starting July 2019. The scheduled service will commence with three weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday and Friday until the end of September, followed by two
