All Nippon Airways (ANA) has reported a net income of ¥3.5bn ($34.4 million) for the first-quarter of the company’s fiscal year 2014, reversed from a net loss of ¥6.6bn in the same period last year. ANA said: “Sales growth was supported by good demand for domestic and international air travel and diversification into other airline-related businesses, including cargo.
