Akasa Air, the Indian start-up airline, is rapidly scaling up its operations by adding its 10th domestic destination and eighth connecting city from Bengaluru. The airline plans to add two flights daily on the Bengaluru-Vishakhapatnam route from December 2022. Going ahead, Akasa also plans to increase the frequency of the Bengaluru-Ahmedabad route to thrice-weekly flights and double daily flights from November 2022, connecting India’s IT hubs, Pune, and Bengaluru. With the added frequencies, Akasa Air now offers 24 daily non-stop flights ex-Bengaluru by connecting to eight cities – Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Kochi, Guwahati, Pune, and Vishakhapatnam.
