A growing list of international carriers have suspended flights to Israel amid security concerns after the escalation of conflict in Gaza and rocket attacks in the vicinity of Ben Gurion International Airport. All US-based carriers have suspended flights to Tel Aviv “until further notice” based on the US FAA’s published prohibition. A partial list of other carriers suspending operations either temporarily or until further notice includes Lufthansa and its subsidiaries; Air Berlin, Air France, Norwegian, SAS, Air Canada and easyJet. British Airways has maintained services to Tel Aviv on the basis of EASA’s advisory notice.
