Air Serbia is suspending flights between New York JFK and its hub in Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport until 7 October. The A330-200 aircraft used on this route will be undergoing routine maintenance during this time. Previously, Air Serbia had leased replacement aircraft from its partner and part-owner Etihad while its own aircraft were out of operation, which it seems not to have opted for this time. The move has caused some media outlets to questions to viability of the JFK route.
